Since we traveled with two young children at the time, we spent most of our time in the shore. One day while I entered the sea with my four year old daughter, my husband sat with our baby boy in the sand near the sea close enough to both be wet by it. He took some toys for playing, and then he decided to catch "what ever the tide will bring". For his surprise and a precious momento to rememeber until this day, he caught several small silver fish! He prepared a small pool with a plastic toy buried in the sand and began to place his catch in it. When our daugther and I approached him he revealed to us the great success. From that day on the highlight of going to the beach was to prepare a small pool for the small fish we caught, and then free them by the time we were leaving for the day. It was a marvelous experience for the whole family that we had the opportunity to enjoy the fishing in a small scale and then set the fish free.
Quick Tips:
A few feet from where we sat at the beach, some men were standing, having the sea up to their knees and fishing either with nets or fishing rods, and I have to tell you, their fishing was a success.
