Restaurant | "Sole Mio Caffé Trattoria"

Cheery Mediterranean colors, Italian nuances and the hastily bought Italian bread and sun-dried tomato sauce add to the authenticity of this small restaurant tucked away in the village of Carmel Valley. Bring a healthy appetite and enjoy the Southern Italian food.

Rub shoulders with ranchers at this popular-with-the-locals coffee shop. The Wagon Wheel has been serving the community for more than 20 years. Its casual ranch house decor is comfortable and inviting. The food is wholesome and plentiful. Don't miss the country potatoes and homemade biscuits and gravy! For a hearty breakfast, its the best, but they also serve lunch.

More that 4,400 acres of rugged countryside make this an ideal place for hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking. (Bring your own horses and bikes). The Carmel River flows through the entire length of the park. There is a range of altitude from 200-2,000 feet. Get a trail map at the visitor center, carry your own water and don't travel alone. The park is open daily from sunrise to sunset.
