We took a trip to Walt Disney World and stayed for a week in a time-share exchange called Oasis Lakes Resort.

Adventure in Walt Disney World, Florida

Overview

Walt Disney World is great - it is so much fun for both kids and adults. Besides that we visited the Daytona and Ormand Beach, took a casino cruise, went shopping at the Florida Mall, and enjoyed dinner at The Lobster Shack.

Quick Tips:

Take plenty of cash and stay at least a week, that way you'll be able to see and do everything there is to see.

Best Way To Get Around:

We received area maps from the front desk of our resort and drove with little or no problems. However, many of the resorts offer free local transportation.

It was so much fun, we enjoyed every minute of the concerts, food, and free drinks. I'm not much of a gambler but had so much fun playing.

Walt Disney World Resort: Magic Kingdom

Disney's Magic Kingdom

We had so much fun visiting with the characters, riding the rides, going to the shows, and enjoying the fireworks and light shows at night. This is our favorite of all the Disney World Parks and we love to visit it time and time again.

We really enjoyed our day shopping, playing water activities, dining, relaxing on the beach, snorkeling, and playing in the surf. My kids enjoyed making sand castles and looking for sea shells. It was really a great day.

Universal Studios Orlando

We had so much fun at Universal that we went back a second day to re-ride many of the rides. It is great now that they have the easy passes and you don't have to wait in the long lines. I recommend that you go early to get them and then go back and ride.

We really liked our time at Sea World, and went back for a second time free, courtesy of Sea World, to ride the coasters and see the animals again.

This is our family's favorite of all the Florida Parks - we had so much fun that we went three days in a row before we had had enough of it. The rides and shows were awesome.

My kids loved walking through the store and playing with the toys that they had out. It was so great, we didn't even have to spend money for them to have fun - they really enjoyed their day.
