Snorkeling is very popular, as is scuba diving. The resort hosts a fun Welcome Party with complimentary buffet and Bahama Mama drinks. An exciting place to dine is Pier One, where sharks are fed on the hour to the delight and wonder of the patrons.
Quick Tips:
For Canadian visitors , this area is very expensive to visit. The food at the resort was not very good. I would suggest cooking your own or eating elsewhere. There were a few buffet nights offered, but not much variety,and not well prepared.
The resort did offer a scheduled grocery run and beach run that was very helpful. Port Lucaya was only a mile or so away but too far to walk in the heat.
Best Way To Get Around:
We found taking buses (public transportation) the most efficient and fun. There are designated bus stops, however most buses would pick you up and drop you off almost anywhere for a fee of .
