Overview

The off season began the day we arrived in Lake Tahoe. We loved it! My most memorable thing to do was the Gondola Ride at Heavenly. It takes you up to an observation deck where you can see the entire lake. The hiking and nature is absolutly amazing. The weather was the best. Not hot, not cold, just great for taking a walk.

The dinner and dance cruise at Zypher cove was awesome.

Quick Tips:

The concierge has numerous discounts for restaurants, shops, activities, and for the more adventurous discounts at the only adult store in Lake Tahoe.

You can get free show tickets and even tickets to the dinner and dancing cruise by taking the timeshare sales tour at the Embassy Resorts.

Best Way To Get Around:

The casinos have shuttles that pick up at most of the timeshares. They run every hour from 10 AM until midnight.

Tahoe Seasons ResortBest of IgoUgo

Hotel | "Tahoe Seasons"

The Tahoe Seasons is a great resort. The vast majority of units are 1 bedroom. They have a living room with TV/VCR. Between the living room and the bedroom is a huge in room hot tub. It is as big as a regular outside hot tub. The bedroom is nice with a fireplace, and dinner table. The kitchen consists of a small microwave and college size refrigerator. Overall the units are small Living Room/bathroom/bedroom are all connected but can be sectioned off with shutters. It was great for the two of us but more than that would be a little cramped and almost no privacy with the paper thin shutters.

The on-site features are decent. The restaurant is nice. The convenience store is outrageous. I think they wanted $10.99 for a 6-pack of domestic beer. The game room has about 8 video games and all are older. There is a pool table room that can be reserved. The sportsbar has a big screen TV and decent drink prices. The pool and tennis courts were closed for remodeling when we visited. Overall a great place with nice people. I would here exchange again.

Restaurant

Christiania Inn
The Christiania Inn has to be the most romantic restaurant in Lake Tahoe. Amazing menu, fireside dining, and great service.

Bananas Flambé and Cherries Jubile, which were prepared tableside, are great.

Check out their website here.

Attraction | "Heavnely Valley Gondola"

Observation
The Gondola's were awesome. You can see the entire lake from the observation deck. When we went it was only open Friday - Sunday. Take lunch with you; there are pinic tables and chairs as well as trash cans. It is beautiful and romantic.

Attraction

Ranch house
That's right, the Ponderosa Ranch where they filmed Bonaza. It is located about 25 minutes from Lake Tahoe in Incline Village, NV. There is a petting zoo for kids, a lot of Old West antiques, and old cars. The tavern was really cool with the swinging doors and a big bar. They do an Old West show and tour of the house and sets as well.
