Our fun began right at the wonderful unit, which was up on a pedestal and slept eight people. It was a fantastic unit that the kids loved and that was very close to the lake for boating. And the horseback riding in the area is wonderful too. Shopping at the candle shops and eating in the restaurants in the Poconos is memorable. Tubing on the Shawnee River is fun, and there's a lot of golf close at hand too. Simply something for everybody and a wonderful country setting with a famous NASCAR speedway for the racing fans in the family.Quick Tips: Allow extra travel time on the weekends when the NY and NJ crowds pour into and out of the Poconos. Had a totally perfect steak and lobster meal. Other unusual offering is ostrich. The restaurant is also noted for excellent prime rib.

Nine dining rooms that can seat 500 guests. Complete seafood dinner costs about $19, and a duck dinner about $16. Surf and turf costs around $31, and about $5 for a childs meal.

Found the restaurant to be a wonderful setting for conversation and great fellowship.

Bushkill Falls

Attraction

Eight wonderful waterfalls nestled deep in the Poconos Mountains with a very near proximity to the Tamiment Resort. There are lots of birds to see and bridges to cross to make the falls more dramatic and viewable. It's very picturesque, and a great outing for the entire family.

Opened in 1904 by Charles Peters, the falls are still owned by the Peters family.
