Visit the Shaker Village, just out of Pittsfield. Very informative and interesting. Holyoke Mall is recommended, but it's about two hours away. Albany is only one hour away via Rt. 20.

Best Way To Get Around:

You definitely need a car to get around as the resort is not close to anything. If visiting during winter, then there is skiing right at the resort.
Best Things Nearby:On site mountain slide for summer, or ski trails for winter. Beach area in Pittsfield is about 20 minutes away. Several museums in N. Adams/Adams. Lots of restaurants in the area. Couple of mini-putts and go-carts for families as well as golf courses.Best Things About the Resort:Resort Experience:Very clean and well kept resort. Unit was well supplied and the large whirlpool tub in master suite was a nice touch. Resort pool was kind of small, good for youngsters.
