Family skiing, hiking, or golfing are just some of the outdoor activities. Be sure to visit Tanglewood in the summer, and see the fall foliage. The antique shopping is wonderful - just travel along Route 7. In addition there are outlets for those who love outlet shopping. Quick Tips:

Family skiing at Butternut, Jiminy Peak, and Brody is fun and really gives kids alot of options. My husband and I often take weekend trips for a quick romantic and relaxing get away.

Best Way To Get Around:

You definitely need a car, and in the winter months, if you're up for some "easy" family sking, a 4WD is helpful.
