This is a great spot to bring the whole family. Part of the 20 restaurants available at Broadway at the Beach, this place is not one you will want to miss. Menu offers NY style food including hand-tossed pizza, subs, appetizers, and great drinks.

Joe's Crab Shack

Restaurant | "Joe's Crab House"

My son especially liked this restaurant because he could be himself and eat with his fingers (important when you are only 4). In the back of the restaurant was a great playground to keep the children occupied while we waited for dinner to be served.

This restaurant served incredible seafood, but it is not the place you would want to come on a romantic date. The tables are long and meant for big families. The food is served in plastic baskets with paper napkins.

This bar makes you feel like you stepped back in the 70's. Disco music is played all night long and even the locals dress appropriately.

This was a great place to relax and enjoy the memories.

Dixie Stampede

Attraction

Quote:
This dinner show was a memorable event for all of us. We started out with popcorn and soda while a man rode into the dining area on a horse. Next we went into a stadium (separated by the east and the west) and were served incredible fried chicken and soda in mason jars. Then the fun began.

While we ate, various stunts were done in front of our eyes by individuals riding horses. The best part was the audience participation. Every time we return to Myrtle Beach we make a point to visit the Dixie Stampede for dinner. I could see the show a million times and still go back.

My son and nephew love Irish Dancing so when we were in Myrtle Beach this last time, I made sure to order tickets for "Spirit of the Dance".

The music, dancing and even the snacks were enjoyable. The show was a little long for my four-year old - in fact, he fell asleep; but for the rest of us...it was an enjoyable evening.

Myrtle Waves Water Park is a real cool way to relax - especially on a hot day. Located seconds from the Sheraton's Broadway Plantation timeshare, you can soak in the sun while enjoying the water rides.

Equipped with lifeguards and plenty of fun, this park is one you will want to visit with your family.

Fantasy golf was a lot of fun for the whole family - especially our little one. As we were golfing, a fire-breathing dragon (which is part of the minature golf course) would spit our fire from his mouth and scare all of us.

This event was so much fun that my son and nephew visited it more than once - twice with us and once with the kids club at Sheraton's Broadway Plantation.

Barefoot Landing

Story/Tip

Quote:
Barefoot Landing is also located in Myrtle Beach, about five minutes from Broadway Plantation timeshare.

This exciting place offers great outlets, like a lion preservation place, where you can get your picture taken while holding a baby lion or sitting next to an adult lion (of course they are tied down). The cost of your photo goes to preserving these lovely creatures.

Also at this location are restaurants, the Alabama theatre (yes the group Alabama actually performed here - unfortunately their last performance was this past March). Most important, Barefoot Landing has the Alligator Adventure - a close up view of alligators and I mean hundreds.
