Guinness Of Course
The Guinness Storehouse shouldn't be missed! Of course there is also the famous Book of Kells and Temple Bar.

Quick Tips:

Definitely book a hotel in advance...or a youth hostel if that is your preference. Dublin is a popular spot with many festivals and it can be really hard to find a place to stay.

Best Way To Get Around:

The easiest and most affordable way to hit all of the main tourist stops is with the double decker bus tours. They are typically 10euros to 12euros for an all day pass.

Hotel

Not bad for an inexpensive hotel. Clean, comfortable, and spacious. Convenient to main roads and bus routes. Good for one night...but not recommended for a long stay.

Bewley's
Naas Road Dublin, Ireland

Extremely comfortable, full-service hotel. Large, but friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended for business travel because of the location and amentities. They have a fully functional business center, fitness center, pub, restaurant, and concierge's desk.

Finding the hotel is easy, as it is located just down the street from the American Embassy (check out the interesting architecture involved there). Taxi drivers will know the place.

The cost of a taxi from the airport to the hotel is approximately 20 Euros.

Restaurant

If you are looking for a good night of entertainment, this is the place! For a reasonable fee you get a full meal and an Irish music and dance show. Definitely entertaining and worth the price.

Attraction

Guinness Train
If you like Guinness you will LOVE this museum. It traces the history of this delightful beverage...and has great presentations of the story behind the brewing process, in addition to advertising, storage, and transportation. Definitely worth a visit. (and even though I don't have kids, I saw several running around and they seemed to enjoy it too).

Attraction

If you would like to see most of the main sites in Dublin the Dublin Bus Tour is the best way to do it! First of all, they go to all of the main attractions...second, they tell you the history as you go. Finally, you pay one rate and you can get off the bus at whatever sites you would like to see...later getting on another bus (they come by each stop about every 10-15 minutes). It is definitely the most affordable, fun, and informative way to see most of Dublin's main tourist attractions.
