If you've been to Phoenix, you know it is big, hot and full of great activities. Sedona is breathtakingly beautiful and worth visiting over and over again. Canyon de Chelly (pronounced "de Shay") was a fantastic new find for us. It is in the middle of the Navajo nation and worth the 4+hour drive from Phoenix. We discovered that Monument Valley is a must see place, but not one where you need to spend lots of time. We also discovered that to drive through Flagstaff does not do it justice. It is a happening and beautiful town where you could easily spend 4-5 days.
