My first overseas vacation

First promotion from me will be Bedugul Garden. It's a very beautiful place near Beratan Lake. It's a pity the place is too far for Jayakarta - one and a half hours transport is necessary.

We found Javakarta isn't Golden Crown, but just belongs to four star resort at Bali. We still have a deep memory for its facility. The beautiful beach is just behind the resort, four swimming pool seemed never crowded, high quality culture shows to entertain, and the waiters at restaurants always had a kind smile.

My family liked this kind of vacation.

Quick Tips:

Actually we still have a little disappointment for the "Gold Crown" resort. Jayakarta just belongs to four star resort at Bali. The "Family Set style" resort was just so-so, as was the bathroom. The sofa bed never let me have a nice sleep. Finally, I expect Javakarta can prepare a laundry for visitors, but not laundry service.

Best Way To Get Around:

The Legian Beach is the best place for surfing. It has safety and is exciting. My child played for almost a whole afternoon with his own surfboard. Until now he still remembers how exciting he was at the afternoon.

The free shuttlebus can take you to Matahari at Kuta, or you can walk along Legian Road to Kuta, just almost one and a half hours.

We hired a tour guide with a driver for the second day and third day of travel. It's cheaper than calling a taxi for a whole day. It's a pity there's no other eaiser way for us to get to Ubud.

"Kori" means door. They have a special and beautiful gate. We reserved the Lotus Area, the area is located at their lotus lake. That's most beautiful area of Kori.

Their ribs set, milk shakes and garlic bread are most recommended by all my friends and us. Most importantly, compared with other famous restaurants, their price is more reasonable.

At about 6:0pm, the waiter will turn off most of the lights and prepare a very romantic lantern for each table. You will enjoy the feeling. I suggest you reserve the Lotus Area like we did, and enjoy your dinner at 5:30pm-7:30pm. Their dinner is just ready at 5:30pm, none of the delicious sets are exhausted yet, and just a few visitors are there, so you can have a quiet, relaxed, romantic, never forgetable dinner like us.

You need two hours for hiking in the forest. The temperature is lower than Kuta Beach. You can't believe it's cool and comfortable actually.

At the top of the garden, the view with a lake is very beautiful. My photo will show you that. Actually, at the deep side of the garden, there are a lot of special plants which many botanists like to visit.

It seems not many foreigners are informed about the beautiful place, though actually the journey from Kuta to there is only about two hours.
