With the good friends we were traveling with, we had 5 children in total along for the trip. We planned events that were family oriented. We chose to shop in Vail as well as sight see, being that it was a world famous ski resort. We went on the Horse trails through the mountains to enjoy both the horses and the scenery. The younger children were able to ride a pony for free while the older ones rode through the trails. Even though the rivers were low for this time of the year we took our group on a float trip on the Colorado River and officially named many of the rocks. The three rooms were extremely helpful with a large family. The hot tubs were great and the pool was right outside our room. We used the barbeque at the complex on two occations. The house keepers did a great job and kept us supplied with many towels.

There is only a partial kitchen but the crock pot helps a lot. They kept the towel supply ample. The facility was clean and well kept. The small town of Avon was quaint.
