Brush up on your Spanish. Although most people we encountered spoke English, there were the times when in the markets that it was difficult to communicate.

Best way to get around is by bus; inexpensive and they run often.

Best Things Nearby:Pool and beach! The Golden Zone, Historical areas, and markets are within a 15 min bus ride. Best Things About the Resort:Friendly and helpful staff; out of the main hotel and shopping area, but within a 5 min bus ride. There were daily activities for guests. The best (to watch) was Tequila Vollyball. The resturant at the beach had great food.Resort Experience:The Vidafel has a wonderful pool. Beyond the pool is the beach. There is a snack bar by the pool, a resturant at the beach, a bar in the lobby, a game room, and a small market for immediate grocery needs. The rooms (we had a 2 bdrm) were small, but clean.
