A July 2000 trip to Lake Tahoe by davstrobel

Stayed at Ridge Tahoe which is up on the mountain overlooking nevada and at the top of chairlift to Heavenly Valley

Overview

The views from unit, lounge shows at casinos, drive around lake (do not try on weekends due to traffic), and dinner at Chart House.

Best Way To Get Around:

Really need a car except there is a shuttle bus from Ridge Tahoe Resort and the casinos.

Try to get there for the sunset with a beautiful view over the lake; we enjoyed a fresh salmon dinner (crusted) and chardonnay. Very romantic--we were there for our anniversary.
