Prior to even leaving for the trip, I was very impressed with the call I recieved from a staff member from Leisure Resorts. Confirming our travel dates, asking if we needed special accomodations or had any additional questions prior to leaving. She left me an 800 number to call back if I thought of anything prior to leaving and wished my family a safe trip down. Very Nice Touch!! Check in was quick and very organized. Several staff available to help several families at the same time (which is great) pamphlets and information and maps of the resort were handed out and explained to you.
Quick Tips:
For those who like to dine out rather than cook every day...Remeber >. Exceptional buffet offered for a resonal price. (go before 6pm and get the early bird special) Any kind of seafood is offered on the buffet plus chickens prime rib, pasta, and so much more. Plenty of lobsters, crab legs are including in the all you can eat.
When you do book your trip, your confirmation letter lists the resort at Leisure Resorts in Orlando, however the sign at the resort says Ramada Suites, so keep your eye out.
Best Way To Get Around:
Because Florida is so large and so much to do and see I recommend renting a car to get around. Although bus transportation is available, your own vehicle will allow you to come and go at your own time.
As far as location of the resort I give it a ****, right is the Disney Property, Left is Sea World and straight is Universal Studios, and all the in betweens are the shops, and water slides, go-carts, and restaurants that you could imagine.
