The White Gull Inn is a Bed and Breakfast with a fabulous retaurant which is open to the public. Great cozy atmosphere. Breakfasts are delicious. They have everything from basic country eggs and bacon to their special cherry cream cheese stuffed French toast (unbelievably good) and different homemade coffee cakes each day. No reservations are taken for breakfast, be prepared to wait but it is worth it. They give you a pager and you could go down to the lake or look around at the shops nearby. Lunches are great too. From basic sandwiches to some more unusual varieties. Great soups. Make reservatoins for dinner. On certain nights, they have the traditional Door County Fish boil. They bo...Read More

Sister Bay Bowl

Restaurant

Quote:
Total Wisconsin Country experience. This restaurant is attached to the bowling alley. It sounds strange but this is probably the most popular place in town (for locals and tourists). The place is always busy. They do not take reservations. You can always bowl while you wait. If you want to bowl after dinner, make sure you put your name on the list before you eat. There are only six lanes. Very old fashioned but fun.

Start your dinner with a bloody mary. The most popular items are the prime rib, the fried perch and the fried shrimp. All dinners come with a salad. They have a large children's menu.

Quote:
Wilsons is a great old fashioned ice cream parlor. They also serve lunch and dinner. They have hamburgers, grilled cheese, salads etc. The menu is large.

They have numerous varieties of ice cream. Everything is great: the sundaes, the shakes, the sodas and the cones. They have awesome root beer so try a root beer float. They put a surprise jellybean in the bottom of your ice cream cone.

This is a charming place across form the boat rentals in ephraim. Not to be missed.

Also on the beach is a playground for the children. There are many beautiful biking and hiking trails in the park. You can rent bikes across the street fom the entrance to the park or right inside the entrance. Both places have great new model bikes for all ages. For children, you can rent carriers or the little tandem bikes that attach to the adult bikes. Tandem adult bikes are also available. When on the trails make sure to stop and enjoy all the beautiful views. If you are interested, check out the lighthouse.

At $4 for 4 minutes, money goes fast here but the kids just love it. They have a small kids only track with mini-gocarts. Thay also have 2 people carts for younger children and then the one person carts for the older children and adults. It's a blast.

Thay also have a miniature golf course and batting cages there.
