A visit to Collingwood can be anytime. In winter, the ski hills becon. In spring, its the blossoms. Summer brings you close to the longest fresh-water beach in the world and fall brings the colours, and oh, yes, the apples!

Collingwood is well known for Blue Mountain ski hills but those same mountains (really an escarpment) give us the Scenic Caves and a micro-climate just made for fruit growing. Wasaga Beach is close by with its water park and mile after mile of sandy beach.

Collingwood holds an Elvis Festival and a military Tattoo every July. Don't miss the Murals of Collingwood. One depicts a "Side Launch" from the days when Collingwood's main industry was ship building. The newest is a 90 x 12 foot depiction of the past, present and future of the town in 6x8 sections.
