Overview

Casinos, casinos, casinos! Sure, that was the lure that brought me there but I found so many other things to do while in Biloxi that most of my money stayed in my pocket! It seems that each time I visit, there is another new Hotel to explore. The latest one has a mall that rivals many stand alone malls in other cities. Also, fishing in the gulf yields good catches and is reasonably priced.

There are plenty of other things to do also. Professional Hockey, Museums, theaters, anything a larger city has, you will find in Biloxi!

Quick Tips:

If you're gambling, always get the casino's players card. It is free and if you use it while playing, the points you get add up very quickly and you end up with free food and other goodies. Do not be afraid to try any of the various hotel resturants or buffets as I have not been to one that I could not recommend.

Best Way To Get Around:

I find my private car best because I love to always be on the go, but each resort has their own courtesy cars or busses that will get you to where you want to go (and you are free to use other property's transportation, if you desire). Public trolleys and plenty of taxis are also available.

The room was a typical hotel room as far as the furnishings but the cleanliness was way above the norm. What made the stay really pleasent was that the staff knew every answer to every question and enjoyed sharing their information!

Almost every casino serves buffet meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner and although I am a very light eater, I enjoyed every one of them! Seafood aplenty and/or prime rib, pork chops, etc are on all the menus. Shrimp served in as many ways as you can count...and then some, crablegs seem to be a specialty! And there is crayfish or crawfish for the southerners.

There are plenty of more romantic resturants or specialty resturants to choose from also.
