We dined at this cellar in the plaza in Panzano. They have a great wine list and it's very reasonably priced. You are theoretically supposed to order wine by the glass, but we wanted to taste a few so we orded four and he put half as much in each glass.
The wine bars in the Chianti region are a great way to taste the local wine and to taste the local food. You can't really order a "secondi", or main meal, but it's nice to order a few dishes and share them. Our favorites were always the bruschetta, the melanzane, and the salami (salumi) is famous in Tuscany.
The Italians need to learn something about bread though - it's absolutely tasteless.
