"25th Wedding Anniversary In Kauai"

Traveling with two young guys forced my husband and I to be a little more adventurous than we might have been on our own. The hightlights of our trip included an ATV trip: "Do Something Dirty in Hawaii." It was an incredible experience. We saw so much of the island that we would not have been able to see otherwise. Another great experience was a kayaking trip. We kayaked up the river, hiked up to a waterfall and had lunch there; then we were picked up by boat. Just incredible. We swung on the rope swings that are seen in the movie "Raiders of the Lost Ark."

Quick Tips:

We stayed at the Ali Kai Resort in Princeville. Although it was very nice, it was not what we have come to expect from a Gold Crown resort.

Best Way To Get Around:

A car is a must to enjoy the island.

Resort Experience:
It was not like the Gold Crown Resorts that we have stayed at on the mainland. Seemed quite a bit smaller and not as well equipped.
