Nestled along the beautiful shore of Big Bear Lake and secluded away from main street but only 5 miles from Bear Mtn and Snow Summit, Lagonita Lodge is the gem of Big Bear. One of the only 5 star resorts in Big Bear, Lagonita Lodge provides condo like rooms with all the amenities of home.

Quick Tips:

I would suggest the weekly tour of Big Bear, a must do. Experienced staff and activities available for the whole family all season long. Social activities are available, so you can meet other families visiting the resort.

Best Way To Get Around:

Bike and boat rentals are available at the lodge, but during the winter season I would suggest your own vehicle.

Lagonita Lodge is situated directly on Big Bear Lake and has a 270 degree view of the water. The lodge is very clean with breathtaking sunrises that makes every morning glorious.

I especially enjoyed walk by the lake, or sitting on my balcony watching the sun rise and set.

At the lodge, 10 boats are available for rent. Both small and large pontoons are ready for you.

Also you won't have to drive off to another location to dock, you can load and unload right off the lodge.

They have many trails for all types of riders. I especially enjoyed the family fun park, filled with low riding rails and jumps.

Their ski and snowboard school is excellent. I have had a few friends learn there last year and now they are going down diamond runs.

I found the formerly known Snow Summit side catering to families. On the other hand the Bear Mtn. side is for an older crowd.
