Wine Country California

A travel journal to Santa Rosa by Deedeedabbs

I want to tell about one of my favorite places. It still holds a little piece of my heart

The best restaurant to eat at is John Ash & Co. It is in northern Santa Rosa and is set in a vineyard. The Vinter's Inn is right next door and a wonderful place to stay. It is attached to the Vinter's Inn. Make sure to buy fresh fruit and veggies at the stands on the country roads near the restaurant. Say hi to Jeffery (chef at John Ash) if you see him.

Quick Tips:

Downtown Santa Rosa is cute so make sure spend an afternoon there. Also, take some little trips to the nearby towns. Heldsburg and Windsor are also quaint.

Best Way To Get Around:

The best way to get around is by driving. You may want to rent a limo to take you around winetasting on day. Public transportation is unreliable and slow.

Restaurant

Wonderful dining experience. The summer nights on the patio are to die for. The style of cuisine is California which is a mix of Asian and French. You can hardly make a poor choice on the menu and make sure to listen to the specials.
