Best thing for me was the beautiful scenery throughout the park. The park is very lush, much more so that out west. I also enjoyed the many waterfalls which were just short hikes (.2-1.5 miles). The kids enjoyed the park also but also the many things to do in Gatlinburg, the typical kid's stuff, ie: goofy golf, Ripleys, rides, white water rafting etc. The restaurants were very good, too!
