Walk along Ocean Blvd. Sun and swim in the shore. People watch. Go to Boston's to eat and watch sports on their many TV's.

Quick Tips:

Best Way To Get Around:

Walking is the best on Ocean Blvd. There is public transportation that you can take to Fort Lauderdale and into Miami.

Hotel

Dover House offers one bedroom units, with full kitchen. You are right across the street from the beach. There are three good restaurants within walking distance and lots of shopping.

This is where the action is. Good food at a good price. Watch sports. Go for Breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, or the bands. There are more locals than tourists, so you get a real feel for the Delray crowd.

We have been spending two weeks here each January for the past two yeas. Being from a cold, big city we like it quiet but not dead. Delray Beach is the perfect mix of sun, shore, people watching and a perfect location to base from. You are a short ride to Fort Lauderdale and Miami but don't have to stay within the crowded noisy scene. Its like being home but also being away from your troubles. Walking around Delray and seeing the in-crowd in high season Florida is fun. I love to watch the fancy cars ride up and down Ocean Blvd. During the day the joggers take up the Blvd. and at night the beautiful people come out to party in the nearby restaurants.
