Bahamas Vacation

One of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen is here on Grand Bahama Island. The beach is called Gold Rock. Had a wonderful trip to this beach! Also enjoyed snorkeling at Paradise Cove. Good price for snorkeling equipment and lunch. In the evenings there is no place better then Port Lucaya Market. Live entertainment, good food and drinks. The casino at Freeport is also a must see and do.

Quick Tips:

Make sure you take a trip to the Winn Dixie for food if your accommodations include kitchen. Most restaurants can be pricey but they are also pretty good.

Best Way To Get Around:

The best way to get around is renting a car or dune buggy. There are buses at most locations but they don't run past certain times of the day. Taxis can get expensive.

Best Things Nearby:
Freeport is closest. There is a casino here and wonderful marketplace. Port Lucaya is not too far away. They also have a wonderful marketplace and nightly entertainment.

Best Things About the Resort:
The people here were extremely helpful and always smiling.

Resort Experience:
This is a pretty good timeshare. It is a little bit out of the way but there are a lot of things to do. They have two swimming pools and a very large hot tub. Two restaurants are also on site. Resort activities were great. There was a wonderful buffet with free food, drinks and games. They also had a few nights of bingo with great prizes. The staff helped to make arrangements for any thing you wanted to do while you were there. Our unit was extremely nice and plenty of room for five of us. Wonderful time had by all!
