Overview

Seattle
I love volleyball! So once a week while there, we went to Alki Beach and "joined" a league. My co-workers jogged - the weather was perfect for both. See my journal about the side trip to Victoria too.

Quick Tips:

Best Way To Get Around:

I'd have to say driving is the best way to get around. Everett is about 30 minutes away from Seattle by car. It was worth the drives in for nightlife and restaurants.

Restaurant

We had the fried fish - it's an entire fish deep-fried. Bad for you, of course, but so good; excellent seasoning.

A nice place for happy hour too - well-stocked bar in a happening part of town.

Salty's on AlkiBest of IgoUgo

Restaurant | "Salty's"

Salty's is great - location, food, service. They've got it all. They even provide free limo service there from downtown hotels! The view of Seattle's skyline can't be beat from the many windows in the restaurant. I'm not even a big seafood lover, but they have a little something for everyone there.

Restaurant

The Peking Duck is out of this world! The service is okay, but the ambience makes up for it. Definitely a place to see and be seen.
