My Amigos Restaurant y Cantina

Restaurant | "My Amigos Mexican Restaurant"

Quote:
This newly renovated Mexican restaurant is our favorite in the whole city! Their slogan is "Fresh Mex", and they live up to that. The owners, Jesse and Diana DeLeon are personally involved in every aspect of the business, and run an import business as well. Any decorations you see in the restaurant are for sale! The BEST margaritas, chips and salsa in town. Love the chili con queso, spinach enchiladas, asada poblano, and quesidillas. The food is just always hot, fresh, and served with a huge smile! This isn't the cheapest Mexican food in town, but you definitely get your money's worth with the portions and the quality... We highly recommend this restaurant! They also serve breakfast on the weekends...Read More

This family run Italian restaurant serves up good, plentiful portions of fantastic downhome Italian food. Your meal comes with a great house salad, and Italian bread and butter. The entrees are huge, and I always have leftovers, which they gleefully package. You can buy wine or beer from the menu by the glass or bottle...yet we usually get a 1/2 or full carafe of their house Chianti. Very much for the atmosphere! This is a good value, and is frequented mainly by those in the neighborhood. It has gotten a really good write up in our Houston Dining Guide recently, so more than just the neighborhood folks are showing up. This is a really good place for children, too. And, this restaurant is completely ...Read More
