Resort Experience:
The one bedroom is very narrow and is ok for 3 people. The resort didn't seem to have many activities but that was ok. We loved that we didn't get one phone call trying to talk us into buying a timeshare. The balcony is perfect for sitting to watch the sunrise and is great for watching the waves. The whirlpool was a nice touch. They have a very nice CD player in the room, my son was impressed. They have a VCR & rentals are reasonable.

Restaurant

This is a very casual family type restaurant. We found the hamburgers to be terrific. We came back a second time just to have another one. The shakes and malts were perfect. The price was right.

Restaurant | "The Coyote Cafe"

This is across the street from The Purple Cow. It had very good Southwestern food. We had a corn cake appetizer that was great. The flank steak was very tender and I had difficulty eating all of the garlic mashed potatoes. My husband had tuna which he said was better than he'd ever had before. It's a small restaurant but when we were there in the spring wasn't crowded.

The area around timeshareBest of IgoUgo

Story/Tip

We think this area would not be fun in the summer. The beach area is beautiful. There's a great sidewalk & a special area for bikes. The area opposite the beach is very touristy and we didn't find too many restaraunts within walking distance that were decent. Drive away for better food. The planes from the nearby bases fly overhead frequently and they're fun to watch. We saw dolphins 4 times and they come close enough to shore that you can see the jumping around.
