A September 2000 trip
to Banff by Rootie
Quote: Of all the ountains in all the world, the Candadian Rockies are my favorite. I have been to Banff three times in my life, and am ever more awed with each successive trip.
2. A stroll through the actual town of Banff. Banff's appeal mirrors that of Lucerne, or other Austrian or Swiss towns, for it is cradled by the mountains and envelops the visitor with alluring buildings, and unique shops.
3. A visit to the Valley of Ten Peaks and Morraine Lake. On a clear day, there really are ten peaks, one has to crane to see them all. This is one of the most tranquil, and easily accessible areas near Banff. Despite all the visitors, one surely is alone.
