Best things to do: Whatever your pleasure. If you want to get wild, join the younger generation at the stripes club. If you want to be alone, find a place to sit and read. People watching is one of my favorites from almost anywhere on the ship. Gambling for the guests who take chances, and lots of shopping. Dressing up on formal night is always a treat and gives me the opportunity to get special pictures with any friends and/or family. Plus the dining room food is wonderful that evening.
Most Memorable Event: Watching the Harry Man contest at pool side. The winner of the contest was a mentally disable young man and he was made to feel real special and had a lot of fun participating. In addition to winning the contest (almost unanimous applause), quests took individual photos of the winner after the contest. Truly a good dose of humanity that I haven’t seen in a long time.
Quick Tips:
If the street vendors get annoying, duck into one of the shops (not the village). The shop attendants will run the vendor off if he/she has not stopped dead in their tracks once you enter the store.
Best Way To Get Around:
Walk to the town if you do not get bothered by the street vendors chasing you down, otherwise take a shuttle.
