Spend at least one night in Pneom Penh, and see the museum, the art galleries near by, the lovely river front and the great finds in the Russian market. Take your time to look and bargains! Spend 3-4 days in Siem Reap, Angkor Wat, and the surrounding areas. Visit the lake village people on a private boat tour, US per person for 2 hours - do not miss this!!! See the local market for handicrafts. Get a massage by the blind for per hour. The best shopping is in the local market; take your time as treasures await your skill and patience. Deluxe rooms at this Boutique hotel are fabulous. NO TV, small pool, lovely restaurant for a continental breakfast in the morning (extra charge). Great location as well. They can also arrange your car and driver for you as well. A great driver and he can be an adequate guide is Mr. Sang Soum: call him prior to your arrival in Siem Reap. Phone 011 855 127 868 71. We paid $20 Us for car with driver, guide extra, but Mr. Soum speaks perfect English so you may not want a guide. Do not miss the water village. We paid 10US each extra and well worth it. Check out the hotel website.

This was an excellent massage, and it helps the blind. $4 US for an hour so book for at least one hour although you will wish you had booked two hours. They offer appointments or just stop by. Ask anyone and they will direct you. Next to a Green Restaurant down a small alley. Taxis or motor bikes readily available when you are done. Or have your driver go home for lunch while you dine and have your massage. Just 2-3 blocks from the local market.
