Trip down Mexico Way

Overview

Quote:
The whole resort was welcoming and well laid out. There were several restaurants catering to different tastes and moods but the food was always tasty and fresh and the staff were helpful and efficient. The pool was beautiful, very large and tropical, with palm trees lining the whole perimeter and pool-side waiters and waitresses always eager to help. As the sun went down each night, there was always a game of volleyball by the water. Lots of fun, great people and unbleievable weather every night. If you stay at this resort or any of the neighbouring resorts, there is a small marina very close by, which is home to many cute breakfast spots and cosy restaurants to have dinner in.Quick Tips:...Read More

Best Things Nearby:The town of Puerto Vallarta and the nearby marinaBest Things About the Resort:The room is very comfortable and has a view of either the pool or the sea. We ate in this restaurant every day for lunch. It was casual and tasty, especially if you want a quick bite after a swim in the hotel pool. There are a number of local dishes and at night there is a different theme for each evening ranging from Italian to Barbeque. Worth the money, particularly for those on a budget.

We ate here on our final night. The restaurant was wonderful. Great service, lovely view of the ocean and ery romantic indeed. The food was delicious and fresh. The main fare is seafood but there are other dishes for those who don't like fish. Probably more expensive than most restaurants in P.V. but well worth a visit.

This was a quaint little Mexican haunt in P.V. recommended by the consierge. THe food was affordable and good, partuicularly for those looking to head into town and sample some local cuisine. Tasty and fresh and if you're lucky you might hear some live music.
