The highlight of the trip was definitely the stay at the Historic Mission Inn. In fact, once you reach the Spanish architecture hotel, there is no reason to leave. They have a beautiful pool area, custom decorated guest rooms with balconies, a gymnasium, spa services, and even good restaurants inside the hotel. Their Sunday Champagne brunch is also boastworthy. They have a large selection of breakfast and lunch items, while being served in the dining room or the gorgeous courtyard.
Quick Tips:
If you want to get out of the hotel, Cafe Sevilla, a tapas bar, is walking distance. They have great food and entertainment. The selection of entrees and tapas were difficult to choose from because they all looked very appealing. At the end of the night, if you enjoyed the music in the background, you can also purchase a CD, in which proceeds go to a charitable cause. In the weekend evening, this restaurant also turns into a dance club next door. We didn't go, but there was a long line to get in.Best Way To Get Around:
There are a few antique shops and specialty stores within walking distance. Otherwise, you'll probably want to drive. For those interested in aviation, there is also a small local airport in Rubidoux that you might find of interest.
