This region has a wealth of activities and attractions to keep you occupied from wineries to beaches, from museums to river cruises and from farm experiences to wetland walks. I suggest taking a walk around the Swiss-style village of Grindelwald, browsing the arts and craft studios that dot the region, and calling in on some of the vineyards and wineries that make up a significant part of the Tasmanian Wine Route.
Don’t miss some of the spectacular winery restaurants. The views are magnificent, the food fresh, and the wines superb. Strathlynn and Rosevears Estate are both outstanding.
