One of the greatest things to do while you're here is visit Six Flags in Arlington. It's just off Interstate 30 between Dallas and Ft. Worth. Another interesting and educational experience is to visit the Grassy Knoll where President Kennedy was shot. You can actually visit the 6th Floor Museum and get a feel of what was going on. There is some great history to learn here. You might also want to go to the Ft. Worth Stockyards. You may even see a longhorn cow there. Whatever you decide, I'm sure you'll enjoy your visit.Quick Tips: Deep Elum is a nice place to visit and have fun, but it's more for the adults and it's in the heart of downtown Dallas. It's loaded with restaurants, shops, ...Read More

Joe's Crab Shack

Restaurant

This is more than just dining. The food is great, inexpensive and just plain enjoyable to most folks. It can be a little loud because of the entertainment as well. The waiters and waitresses actually dance to some of the music played and if there is a birthday being celebrated, just sit back and enjoy. There are several locations to choose from, so check the local phone directory for the location near you. If you don't mind a little fun with your dinner, this is a great place to go.

Six Flags gives you a chance to forget your every day living and just have fun. It doesn't matter what age you are, there is something to do for everyone. There are lots of rides, shows and events that go on regularly. The shows change periodically, so you're not likely to see the same one year after year. Just go and have fun!

Sixth Floor Museum at Dealy Plaza

Attraction | "6th Floor Museum: John F. Kennedy"

Quote:
The 6th Floor Museum is a great place to learn more about President Kennedy's assassination. You kind of get a feeling of what might have been going on at that time. The area where Lee Harvey Oswald was supposed to be standing to take the final shot is clearly marked and protected behind glass, but you are able to look out the windows and get a feel of what it may have been like. There are videos to watch, actual press recordings to listen to and lots of different pictures to see. There is a gift shop on the first floor where memorabilia can be purchased as well. This is definitely worth visiting.
