Topnotch Hotel for Business Meeting

Posted by imwildhchild on February 21, 2010

I am looking for an upscale hotel in the heart of downtown to host an Executive Meeting in the coming months. Price not as important as service and location. Any suggestions?

Thanks

There are many including the Marriott on the "Magnificant Mile" (Michigan Ave), which is in the perfect location for other things in the city.

My family and I personally stayed at the Avenue Hotel Downtown (which is now a Crowne Plaza) and were very impressed with the attitude and service level of the staff. We have traveled a great deal and have certainly seen the best and the worst the Hospitality world has to offer. I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza Avenue Hotel Downtown for business or pleasure. The other plus is that it is within walking distance of much of what Downtown has to ffer.

Good Luck!

The Palmer House Hilton is especially nice and very close to major attractions

I would select the Avenue Crowne Plaza. It's a great location, priced right and the meetings space is fabulous. My company had a meeting there not too long ago and the food was delicous (not typically found, my experience). The meeting rooms were comfortable and the temperature was consistent. So often times it's either too hot or too cold and by the end of the day everyone is squirming to get out of there. I would highly suggest it.
