Indian Rocks Beach and the small coastal village feel

Posted by Jo Karen on February 16, 2010

We recently visited Florida and were very fortunate to discover Indian Rocks Beach. We thoroughly enjoyed the "small town" vibe, being able to walk to several great restaurants and relax on a beautiful beach that was not over crowded and was exceptionally clean. The kids really liked the Nature Preserve Park with the raised boardwalk that allowed you to walk through mangroves to a small scenic view with benches that overlooked the water. There are several nice parks within the vicinity and a lot of other attractions in the area to visit and enjoy. You feel welcome and that you are part of a community that takes pride in the natural beauty that surrounds their day to day lives.
