There's a Dublin and Ireland visitors guide updated daily by a Dubliner called Dublin Visitors http://www.dublin1.webs.com
Question - which do you find better - City Guide books that can go out of date or quality websites like Igougo that are constantly updated?

I find the the BEST way to find interesting things to do at any place you've never gone to (or have only gone once or twice) is to ask the locals. Guide books can't tell you everything, especially off-the-beaten-path activities. And travel websites would need participation from travelers (to Dublin, in this case) who've done it all in these places. Those travelers are few and far between. I say try a mixture of both guide books and websites, but when you get there, try and ask questions from friendly locals. (ask more than one person though, so you can compare information)
