I'm spending three days in Copenhagen and after reading multiple books I've got a mile long list of sites to see. I'm planning to hit up all the major neighborhoods.
What should I make sure to see in Slotsholmen and the Indre By areas?
Is Rosenborg Slot worth touring?
Any other advice?

Sorry, I haven't been on IgoUgo in ages thanks to a change in work that keeps me on the road a lot. Did you get to Copenhagen ? If so, what did you work out for sightseeing? I'm going back in May 2010.

I'm kind of hoping to get a similar response to a one day inquiry. I find TripAdvisor to be too commercial since it was sold - all about hotels, etc.
Many of us have the accomodation - just want local knowledge.
Hopefully, someone can provide it.

My only comment on short trips to Copenhagen is make sure you don't go on a Sunday as most places seem to close.

We spent 4 or 5 days in Copenhagen this spring. Rosenborg Slot is definitely very interesting and there's lots to see there. The National Museum is good too. We walked a lot around the old quarter of the city, there's loads of shops and restaurants and cafes there. Tivoli is good but expensive, even for expensive Copenhagen, but might be nicer all lit up at night.
