I foolishly made some phone calls back to the U.S. using my credit card. I learned later than some third-rate company named International Satellite Communications handles calls billed to credit cards and charges outrageous rates. One of my calls lasted less than a minute and cost almost $50. I would strongly recommend buying a pre-paid phone card to avoid this.
