I live in Virginia but I am seriosly considering moving to South carolina. Moving is easy but my issue is I run a taxi service and I am not sure if this would be a good place to transfer my business. Richmond is just too slow and I wait hours to get a fare. Is Charleston a busy place? I prefer to move south. North is too cold. That's why I left New York. But I miss it alot.

This is a travel site and not so much a "relocation advice" site. I would suggest you contact the Charleston Chamber of Commerce for more information.
That said, I'm from VA myself and have spent some time in both Richmond & Charleston. I don't know how the competition is in these two cities for taxi services but my initial reaction if that if you can't make a go of it in Richmond, I doubt you could in SC.
There are often people looking for a car/livery service between Anchorage and cities on the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska . . . maybe you should look into that as a possibility.
