I can appreciate that you must get hundreds of reviews a day or more but i'm a bit mystified as to the order that they are editor-reviewed in. Are they just first-come first served, i.e. they go into a queue as they are submitted by an author or do you have different people that look at reviews by location? I wondered because i submitted 5 or 6 reviews today and they all got looked at within the hour yet i have a bunch that i submitted over the weekend that are still pending though others from the weekend have been seen. I did wonder what the procedure was for your editors.

That's a great question.
Since we had a three-day holiday weekend here (Memorial Day holiday), I am catching up on "reviewing" the reviews and stories. If a review has already been attached to a business listing, that is a quick process to approve and up on the site. If a review has not been linked to a particular business (restaurant, hotel, attraction) I sometimes do those together as a group. In those cases, new business listings have to be created and then the review can be attached. There are times I find duplicate listings, in which case, the reviews have to be combined and the duplicate business listing is deleted. This can be very time consuming-- but in a normal week, there is only a one or two-day lag.
Thank you for your patience and those pending items should be cleared up this week.

Thanks so much for the quick response! I wondered if it was a one person effort or a team! Sounds like you've got your hands full! Thanks for all your hard work!
