I have a question about the reservation procedure at the Enalion Suites in Lassi. I was not able to find available rooms through third party websites. So, I went on the Enalion Suites website and they do not have the option to check availability, the only option is to call or email them. I sent an email and got a response that there is a suite available that sounds great. The only concern I have is that they require 25% of the fee to be wire transferred to their bank to hold the room. This seems unusual to me. Typically, hotels require a credit card to hold the room. Is making a wire transfer a standard procedure? Has anyone made reservations this way? Any information or experience regarding this would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

As a frequent visitor to many parts of Greece, I can confirm that this is standard practise and should not be a cause of worry for you. As odd as it might sound, many smaller accommodations in Greece still don't have credit card facilities so they ask for a wire transfer instead.
