you are in Bangkok, well, you always want to be in heart of emotions, where you can meet, talk and share your trips and its Idea to other travelers when you meet them. so, where is the best places than Khao san road. staying in this quarters is always fun but finding a vacancy is NOT the easy things, i remember when i arrived i was looking for an about 45 minutes and its not easy when you are holding a heavy back-pack on your shoulders
So, go just 100 meters far from Khao san, there are a korean Hostels called " DDM", why not to stay among the Korean travelers, talk with them and ay nights party with them in "DDM" hostels
the dormitory rooms are ok at all with bigger spaces and shower inside with 2 big fan at ceiling.
they book also bus ticket and several daily tours to Islands
