South Africa-Morocco, Spain and Lisbon travel

Posted by dandman55 on March 03, 2011

I'm traveling solo to Knysna, SA in July to run a marathon. Then I would like to visit Cape Town, then Morocco (Fez and Marrakesh), then head to Barcelona & Madrid then Lisbon and head back to US. I have about 3-4 weeks to do this. I know it's a little rush but I just really want to get a "taste" of these places. Is this itinerary OK? thanks in advance.

Hello,

Morocco offers severals landscapes and really nice experiences.
You should take a Tour or rent a Driver Car Guide, speaking english, from Marrakesh to Fez.
Marrakesh is just Magic with Souks, Hammam, Riads for the authenticity and modernity as the best nightlife spot in North Africa and high standing accomodations. It s also the good place to chill. The countryside with Atlas mountains is really stuning.

Fez is spiritual, more Historical 12 Century, the countryside is nice and the food is excellent.

If you stay only 5 days, i will say 2 days in Marrakesh, a day trip In Essaouira and 1 in Fez.
