Entry/Photo Changes to be Aware of?

Hi everyone,

It has been quite a while since I posted anything new here but I finally have all the photos from the family from our trip to DK last summer. It has been so long since I've written anything here and I know there have been many changes. I also couldn't think of where else to post this in the forum so I hope this section is okay. ;-)

Any tips on the new entry, journal/trip and photo formats that you think I should be aware of? Not bugs, of course, but maybe things that you found tricky when trying them out for the first time or things that work better one way or the other.

Thanks!
Andrea

Nothing that I can think of, Andrea - though I must applaud the new (well, not so new now) photo uploading tool. Much faster than before!

Okay, I have suddenly recollected one glitch I've noticed occasionally. IgoUgo apparently has some sort of 'resident database' of attractions, with addresses and all. But those addresses aren't necessarily always correct, or they sometimes don't hook up correctly with the attractions we're writing about. For instance, I wrote about Delhi Gate, a 17th century gateway in India; IgoUgo changed it automatically to a 'review of India Gate', which is Delhi's 20th century memorial to the Unknown Soldier. It happens rarely, but it can happen. I'd suggest you check your reviews again perhaps a couple of days after they've been uploaded - maybe once they've been reviewed? - just to ensure that things are all right.

Happy writing!

Thanks, that is definitely something to keep in mind. I haven't scrolled through things in my destinations yet so I'll be mindful of it.

I'm definitely looking forward to a faster photo uploading tool! That's a definite plus.
