I found this people from Poas rent a car online where they do offer a great travel program which includes a 4x4 for only $129 per week. I though it was another hidden fees trick on the web but when I got there I just bought the insurance I need, the items I wanted and the price was for real.
I also visited Vista Atenas Hotel, located in Atenas town. This was one of my favorite places to stay. The hotel is builded up in the hills of Atenas town with a great view of central valley. Jonathan and Vera were very friendly and helpfu.
On my way to North Pacific, I booked in advance Hacienda Guachipelin Hotel, located at the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. The place is full of adventure tours, Spa, thermals and they offer a hikking tour to the volcano`s crater. Nice, simply nice.
