How to get to Koh Tao from Bangkok

You can travel to Koh Tao from Bangkok by train or bus and then ferry from Chumphon. A good bus and fast ferry from Bangkok to Koh Tao is operated by Lomprayah and they have 2 services a day from Bangkok and Hua Hin to Koh Tao, Koh Phangan and Koh Samui

They also have the Lomprayah Buffet Ticket which allows you for a fare of THB 1,250 ( about US$ 35 ) to travel and stop in Hua Hin, Chumphon, Koh Tao and Koh Phangan on your way to Koh Samui, so you can do beach hopping and island hopping in Thailand along the coast south of Bangkok. This is I think a very good price so you can visit many places for the one fare all the way.
