Hello
I just wanted to alert anyone who plans to be in England in September that the annual Heritage Open Days even it coming up in just a couple of weeks.
For some heritage buildings this is the only weekend (long weekend) when you can visit them. For many others that are more accessible it's still a great opportunity to see them for FREE - my favourite price.
Scotland also does a similar event in September and I think London has their own. You can find out lots more at this link http://www.heritageopendays.org.uk/
The best heritage bargain of the year!
If you aren't in England but could be, this is a great time to visit.

Wish I could be there too! We loved our trip to the UK back in 2006 . . . and used our Heritage Pass to see a lot of wonderful places. By far, the best tourist value if you're planning to see a lot of the historical buildings and castles.
Enjoy!
